Directing Intensive - 4-wk evening program

What assets does a director need in order to be a successful? This series guides you from breaking down the script from the director’s point of view to easy and effective communication on set with your fellow filmmakers and talent. We use script excerpts to apply the techniques and steps necessary to go through production, as well as the editing process to construct scenes. This series includes hands-on camera work that participants may direct. This work will be reviewed and assessed.

Winter Series: Monday, February 2, 2009, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Spring Series: Monday, May 4, 2009, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Summer Series: Monday, August 31, 2009, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Fall Series: Monday, November 2, 2009, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Classes are held Mondays 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Tuesdays 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Participants meet for four consecutive weeks. This is a 20-hour program
